A series of photographs made to feel like a postcard from childhood in the summer. The South has a way of moving a little slower—barefoot, laid-back, and unhurried. Days spent running through the grass, wandering the garden, and finding your way down to the creek. I followed this family through a piece of their everyday life, photographing the little moments as they unfolded around their little Southern cottage.
